Mr. Max came to us mid August 2024. Even though he had been wandering outside for a few weeks he didn't seem to be overly stressed and was in reasonably good condition. He did have a wound on his leg that we had to address which is now healing well with no complications.
He is a young cat with a quiet demeanor. He loves attention and gives a ready purr for the volunteers he has gotten to know.
We will be having him vet checked, neutered and vaccinated before he will be ready for adoption.
Update: Hmmmm - now that Mr. Max (aka Mad Max) has settled in (and has been neutered) his personality has changed. Not the quiet, loveable little man but a going concern!
Playful, endless energy and no boundaries he has been dubbed the Tasmanian Devil! Having said that, Max also still has his very sweet affectionate side and craves attention. Much of his "devilishness" comes from being young and impulsive. Let us assure you he is definitely a good cat but just has an over abundance of energy, cheekiness and mischief bottled up inside him.
He is a character and you can't help but love him to bits! Like a small young child discovering the many wonders of his world, he cant get enough fast enough! We have to be constantly aware of what he is doing, where he is going (at top speed so we don't trip over him) and who he is antagonizing at the time or what trouble he is getting into in any given moment.
A unique little man full of surprises! Anyone adopting Max will never again have a dull moment in their lives but all moments will be filled with love, affection, fun and adventure!
Mr. Max is all black in color - as soon as he slows down enough we will try to snap a few more photos of him for his profile :)
