Donations
If you wish to support us, please consider a monetary donation to help with spay, neuter and veterinary costs as we do NOT adopt out any cat or dog until it is spayed or neutered and in good health.
We are a registered charitable organization and as such are able to issue a charitable tax receipt for any monetary donations.

We do get a small discount from our veterinary clinics which we greatly appreciate but we have many other costs as well.
Donations to the Alberta SPCA are strictly slated for the Alberta SPCA. They are NOT distributed to the many other SPCAs around Alberta.
All SPCAs are individual independent organizations with their own policies, procedures and methods. We do try to support and recommend other SPCA’s and work together out of courtesy and respect for all that we know we do and for the better good of the animals we are helping.
Our one staff member and many volunteers really work out of the “goodness of our hearts”. We are in it for the animals and are doing the best we can with the funds available and the facility we have.
We have been over maximum capacity for the past several years. We can’t take in more cats until we are able to adopt out some. We wish we could accept more cats and dogs but our facility is not large enough to take in every one. We will help by posting cats and dogs needing a new home in-house on our bulletin board, on our face book page – and now our website – but sadly our facility is limited in the number we can house and care for at any given time.
Watch for our unique donation banks located in businesses around the community!
